This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to get into birding, improve upon existing bird knowledge or anyone who just enjoys being outdoors. We will scout out some of the bird species we have around the picnic area and see how many different species we can find. Merchants Millpond is known for its great bird diversity, which is partly due to its varying ecosystem types. This event is open to the public and for all ages.
