Join members of the Forsyth Audubon Society and Park rangers as they count and document migrating raptors including hawks, falcons, eagles and osprey. Learn about the history of migrating raptors, and use a pair of binoculars to see them for yourself.

Coastal North Carolina is home to many species of breeding birds, as well as species that migrate through the area on their way back to their wintering grounds further south. This workshop will consist of a hike through various habitats at Cool Springs to identify migrant and resident birds.

This Deer Processing Seminar includes video demonstrations and discussions on  field dressing, taxidermy, skinning, safe meat handling and basic home processing.

Come join our experienced and knowledgeable instructors for a day of fun and learning as they introduce you to the basics of fly-fishing. Equipment and materials provided. Bring a lunch and non-slip shoes or waders if you have them. Limited to 6 participants. Ages 12 and up.
