Ever been curious about fungi? Want to learn about native mushrooms? Join former NC State Park Naturalist Jack Green for the Mushroom Foray. Meet at Lake Norman State Parks Community Building (204 Group Camp Lane, Statesville) at 10:00am. From there you will disperse into the woods looking for mushrooms. Lunch will be at 12 in the Community Building or take it with you into the field. Participants will gather back at the Community Building at 3:00 pm to identify the mushrooms they have collected.
