This virtual conference will bring together experts in heirs’ property, including forest landowners experiencing it firsthand. We will share ideas and perspectives, provide updates on legal developments regarding heirs’ property, and present results from two integrated research and outreach initiatives. Though the main focus is on African American forest landowners located in the southeastern states, in general, and Georgia, in particular, we will also discuss heirs’ property issues nationwide.
